This is a documentary examining the rise and fall of the Inca empire, with theoretical hypothesis as to the reason for the latter. Historian Bill Sullivan believes he has discovered a set of codes, which unfolds an untold history of the Inca, and connects the Inca with other civilizations from Antiquities. They are based on remarkably similar astrological knowledge evidenced by the buildings, temples, pyramids, and monoliths that these civilizations left behind. Segment 1 (8:30 min)

huh. its interesting… but I’m not sure how relevant it is to modern life. I am fascinated by ancient history and even though there is a great sense of romance to it, I cant say that I would want to live in such an irrational society (that did things like human sacrifice to appease the gods)

I think the documentary is trying the explain the Inca through their myths and cosmology so that we do not judge them by our own set of perceptions of the world. To embrace that thinking always relevant.
