  1. some of my friends are heading here n May, while i’m in Russia….but there seems to be some issues due to the recent flooding if they will be able to reach this area…

  2. they are not treking but planning to take a train, but seems the tracks and some of the roads are washed out…the alt there is supposed to make everything even more challenging…but they will still go to Peru…even if they have to change their plans…

  3. Yeah, a couple of good friends went last year – not sure if they took the train or trekked though. But I think I would like to trek up there. :)

  4. Yep, I would say you are a definite trekker. My friends said the local guides gave them coca leaves to chew on along the way which helped a lot.
