   i’ve always wanted to visit sri lanka…i know it’s not the safest place, but it seems interesting to me…

   Yes, despite the civil war, Sri Lanka does have a certain allure… I definitely want to go.

   Oh I want to go to, but I am not sure how I will cope with the heat…and I don’t mean that from the exotic curries. I have tried Sri Lankan cuisine a few times, and I like it more than Indian. I think it is not as rich/heavy, and the flavours from roasted spices come through a lot more with the way Sri Lankan food is prepared. And the coconut sambal is to die for…

   Your description of Sri Lankan food sounds delicious. I do not eat as much Indian for the same reasons you describe as well.
