Yeah, the burger on the French roll looks great. Let’s go to the Java House one of these days.

I actually saw Bourdain walk into Sebo when the crew were here for the filming. Brahmani, Seth and I were going to go there that night but we decided against it because we had to meet someone else for dinner. They picked me up at my place which is only two blocks away from Sebo and as we left my hood, we saw him walking in.

Ah…San Francisco, one of my favourite cities in the world! I love the eclectic mix of food offered, and the co-existence of pretty adventurous food with fast food all in the confines of the same city.

In Malaysia/Singapore, there is a classic dish translated into ‘fried oysters’ - it seems very similar to the oyster/bacon omelette shown at the beginning of the episode, minus the bacon but add shallots and chili. Yummy stuff.

It’s true, you can find just about anything and everything in San Francisco. It sometimes come across as contradictory, from restaurants to politics… but I suppose that’s life.

I am a bit afraid and also very curious about the oyster/bacon omelette. I have not been at that restaurant for over 2 decades. Hmm… Maybe I should do a brunch run.
