    great clip…i’ve been on the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka…it was great! it would be nice to see some of these trains in the u.s.

    I took that train as well when I was in Tokyo. I also took the train from Paris to somewhere south of France. Kind of pathetic that we do not have one in the US yet…

    agree…and yes, i took one in france too…they are pretty wonderful…i heard they were planning one in brazil from sao paulo to rio…

    You are not missing that much. They are not much different than regular trains.

    I took the one from Tokyo to Kyoto passing Mt Fuji on the way. It was awesome! Recently I missed the one in Taiwan as they ran out of ticket so we had to take the regular express instead.

    It would be amazing if the trains would go up to 500 mph like they say it could. Airplane flights have a huge carbon footprint. It would be excellent if we can switch most flights to speedy trains.
