GOOD LOOK: Green Jobs

Buildings are actually responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions than cars. Simply weatherizing houses and businesses can reduce their environmental impact and lower energy bills. That’s why organizations such as the Community Environmental Center in New York are providing subsidized weatherstripping and insulation to homeowners—and creating new “green jobs” in the process.     this is a great story….i need to do some improvements around my house to save energy, this is a good reminder!

    Yes, it seems like good practice to go green for any house maintenance projects we do these days… I am a little frustrated that the infrastructure for energy conservation is not yet the default solution.

    i agree… i think a lot of these things should be part of the building code, so that it is not optional….
