good for them having a sense of humour about their predicament. Hopefully none of them will add to the rising suicide rates among the military…
I read an interesting article the other day about the recent mass killing at Fort Hood. The editorial pointed out that there have also been 76 suicides there since the Iraq and Afghanistan wars started. It also pointed out that government and media are reluctant to admit the realities behind all of this… the psychological effects of an unending, unjust war on those on the frontlines. As they say in the song, it’s all Bush and Cheney’s fault.
