   wow, that was likely the most thoughtful and rational discussion I have yet heard on this issue. The guest speaker should be hired on by Obama to be his front line man on immigration. Of course there is still that loud vocal minority that is not interested in being rational.

   Re: the vocal right wing, my brother in law told me this great quote a while ago… “if the law is on your side, bang on the law. if the facts are on your side, bang on the facts. if neither the law or the facts are on your side, bang on the table”

   Unfortunately, it is rare to hear such an articulate, logical vision. The Immigration debate is usually hijacked by loud, obnoxious and racist individuals.
