yes, I suppose it is famous for its extreme winters… seems like a laid back kind of big metropolis.

Chicago - my first port of call outside Asia. Spent a night at the O’Hare Airport, in transit en route to Toronto. It was snowing outside…first sight of snow and winter…seems like a lifetime ago now but I have fond memories of the new experiences.

Would love to visit that smoke house and sample their fish and shrimps/prawns! And oh, why are all the servings so big in America? :) I can never get over that…

Yes, it’s true about the huge servings in the US. I was very struck by how small the servings are in Asia. It was a revelation. I tend to like small and multiple types of food than a big meal like in the US. I suppose that’s why we are all kind of big over here.
