    Sadly, like religion sometimes, tradition can prevent a society from moving forward and embrace positive changes. In some cases (certainly it seems so to me here) tradition is used as a veil hiding some deep-rooted chauvinistic inclination.

    Oh yes, traditions and religion… as well as politics, when used against humans, which is often the case, holds us all back as a species. We are living in a time where it seems we can see a lot of the old paradigm that longer serve people and communities but are so ingrained that many cannot imagine a change. It is sad…
