Throughout the 1930s and ’40s, Edgar Cayce was a well-known figure, renowned for his “healing abilities” as well as his prophecies. DECODING THE PAST examines the transcriptions of Cayce’s readings to see which of his predictions have come true, which remain unfulfilled, and which may yet be realized. Filled with expert interviews, the recollections of those who saw Cayce work, and archival photos and footage, THE OTHER NOSTRADAMUS is a compelling look at a unique American figure. It’s interesting to note that despite his prophecies, Edgar Casey believed that it is within us to change the future. It makes you wonder how the world would be today if measures had been taken, (or his predictions had been taken more seriously?). Very much like Back to the Future in some ways where time is not linear but multi-dimensional.

Yes, and scientists are now coming to the idea that not only do we live in a multi-dimensional universe but there are most likely there exist many universes – a multiverse… which may start to explain how Cayce was able to access the information he did. It is mind boggling to think about but exciting that it is within human possibilities…

I’ve been meaning to watch this vid for a long time as it always appears on your home page, and so I finally did. I’ve always heard his name but had not heard his story until now. I guess that I remain a skeptic… as with virtually all psychics his predictions were sufficiently vague to be open to interpretation. Interesting nonetheless…
I wonder if you have ever come across a similarly infamous character who was active in the occult – Aleister Crowley ? Here’s a link to part 1 of a documentary on his life: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czn8uCaPSl4

Yes, I’ve come across Aleister Crowley but was never really intrigued about that kind of exploration. It’s too dark and menacing for my taste.
