re part 2: I should have watched this before sending you that email response… the fate of these extremely poor people is the same regardless of which political party is in power. Its a shame that the game of politics blinds the power players from addressing the most basic needs of their citizens.

very often humans get into a game of winning and losing instead of collaborating for a win-win scenario which often is an option that exists.

China as country, for instance, has been indoctrinated by a philosophy that stresses collaboration. And while many Westerners and Chinese think that it was a failed economic system, the people’s collaborative spirit is awe inspiring as we all saw in the Olympics. Imagine if all countries work together in that spirit for the betterment of all… oh wait, that’s a john lennon song…:~)
