No End in Sight

No End in Sight is a documentary film about the American occupation of Iraq. It focuses on the two year period following the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. The film asserts that serious mistakes made by the Bush administration during that time were the cause of ensuing problems in Iraq, such as the rise of the insurgency, a lack of security and basic utilities for many Iraqis, sectarian violence and, at one point, the risk of complete civil war (65:19 min). This is highly recommended, folks.

The film marks the directorial debut of political scientist and former software entrepreneur Charles H. Ferguson. The film premiered January 22, 2007 at the Sundance Film Festival and opened in limited release in the United States on July 27, 2007.

were they mistakes or calculated moves meant to wipe Iraqi heritage from world history? Perhaps all part of a greater scheme for one religion, one world culture, one world government… Babylon part II.

Or perhaps it was just the single sighted goal of the oil reserves that led to this terrible human tragedy…

I will come back and view this…I have heard about it, but never got a chance to view…and i like that you put ‘related stuff’ here too, it helps guide me back to things I’ve missed…On a totally unrelated note, I went to see the film Roman de Gare this evening and highly recommend it, if you get a chance…

There’s a lot of great documentaries on this site but 2 of the best are this one and “The Corporation”

I checked out the Roman de Gare preview… It looks pretty good. Thanks for the tip.
