This is a such a ridiculously fun video. Tin Tin and Kim set out to do for Hanoi what Biggie did for Brooklyn. A 3:35 minute video by The Lonely Planet Travel Guide.

This is quite fun to watch, but I wonder if I would be enticed to go to Hanoi looking at the video…or may be I am just a bit too old for stuff like this.

ha ha, it does not really take you there, does it? well except for maybe the rickshaws… but it’s so hilarious to watch as maybe a music video.
It’s interesting that Lonely Planet chose to do videos like these. I kind of like the lightness of it. There was another video of this same guy Tin Tin doing another tune in San Francisco but it was not as funny as this. The girl Kim rapping in Vietnamese and English stole the show in this one.

that was fun! its so cool that rapping and break dancing has such an international cross-over.
I wonder if you remember the track by the Tajikistan artist DJ Shaitan on the Rough Guide / Off the Beaten Track cd I sent you a couple years ago… I find it quite fun too. Have a listen if you have the disc handy!

That’s great, man. Can we go to Vietnam, too?! Perhaps a bit less exotic, but you’ve been here… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL7uW4TYqbs My, uh, homies.
