Some consider this kung fu fight scene between Ziyi Zhang vs. Michelle Yeoh from Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to be the best ever filmed (4:38 min).
The movie was based on the fourth novel in a pentalogy, known in China as the Crane-Iron Pentalogy, by Wang Dulu. The extremely realistic martial arts and action sequence was choreographed by Yuen Wo Ping well known for his work in many great kung fu movie and The Matrix which catapulted him to world re-known status.

personally I enjoyed some of the other fight scenes in this film even more! I had never seen some of the flying type moves before. This is a film that I can watch over and over. Even though as I recall it doesnt have a happy ending…

If you have not seen it already, you may want to check out the movie Hero. I thought it was even better than this movie… although this movie did raise the bar for kung fu flicks…

this is a pretty amazing fight scene, I’ve seen the movie a few times…and think i have it on dvd around here somewhere…
