Earthlings, below, is a 2005 feature length, multi-award winning documentary about humanity’s absolute dependence on animals (for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific research) but also illustrates our complete disrespect for these so-called “non-human providers.” Earthlings was produced and directed by Shaun Monson and co-produced by Persia White. The film was narrated by Academy Award nominee actor and animal rights activist Joaquin Phoenix. Earthlings also features an original score by musician and activist Moby.
